Barnes, Russell
Mr. Barnes is an accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta and throughout his years of employment, attended numerous management courses and seminars. Mr. Barnes worked for thirty-five years in the Municipal Property Assessment and Taxation field. The last twenty one years Mr. Barnes served with the City of Medicine Hat, as the Head City Assessor and Tax Collector, before retiring. Under the Alberta Disaster Services Program, Mr. Barnes worked as an Evaluator of Property Damage, on six separate flood disaster events.
