Jody Prohar is the Registrar/Executive Director of Physiotherapy Alberta - College + Association. Jody is a registered physiotherapist. Jody is a board member of the Alberta Federation of Regulated Health Professions.

Holroyd, Brian

Brian Holroyd is an Emergency Medicine (EM) physician who holds the position of Senior Medical Director with the AHS Emergency Strategic Clinical Network, and is a Professor of EM at the U of A. He has extensive clinical and administrative experience. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Emergency Medicine, on committees of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and previously served on the Alberta Ambulance Governance Advisory Council. Brian holds a fellowship in EM, has completed an MBA at the University of Tennessee and a graduate certificate in Clinical Informatics from OHS&U.

Juhas, Michal

Michal is a clinical researcher from Northern Alberta. He is a PhD candidate in the computational psychiatry group at the University of Alberta with previous training in physiology and pharmacology from McGill & IRCM. Michal’s research interests are in brain plasticity with emphasis on novel biomarkers for personalized medicine. He has founded a biotechnology startup Canadian Alkaloids and fulfilled several executive positions in non-profit groups dedicated to science outreach, health promotion, Indigenous Peoples, and ending of homelessness.

Krempien, James

James Krempien received his B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta in 1991 then registered as an Alberta pharmacist.

During his 10-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces, he practiced at the base, hospital and depot levels in several provinces. In 1994 he completed a six-month tour in the former Republic of Yugoslavia. He retired from the Canadian Forces in 1999 as a Lieutenant-Commander and returned to Alberta with his family.

Back in Alberta Jim practiced pharmacy with Calgary Co-op and then Canada Safeway in Edmonton. After returning to community pharmacy in 1999, he served the profession in many ways, including as one of six founding members of the Alberta Pharmacists' Association and as a Councillor, Vice-President and President-Elect of the Alberta College of Pharmacists.

Jim now contributes to the profession as the Complaints Director for Alberta College Pharmacists.

Jim previously served as a member of the Alberta Government’s Electronic Health Records Stewardship Committee.

Leigh, Richard

Dr. Richard Leigh is the Senior Associate Dean, Faculty Affairs at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. As part of this portfolio, he serves as a co-chair for the provincial AMHSP Operations Committee working closely with Alberta Health. Leigh previously served as the Academic and Zone Clinical Department Head for Medicine at the University of Calgary/Calgary Zone (2016-2020), and he holds licensure as a specialist respirologist with the CPSA. He was elected as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences in 2021.
