Stanners, Michèle

Michèle Stanners is a nationally recognized culture leader and nation builder with over 30 years developing the arts and cultural landscape in Canada. Since 2000, she has developed a unique arts and experience based methodology to build bridges of understanding towards reconciliation. She has sat on numerous boards and is a long standing and active member of the International Women’s Forum, Calgary Chapter. She is a graduate of Harvard University, an accomplished pianist and provides strategic advice to leaders throughout Canada.


Tomlinson, Garrett

Garrett Tomlinson is Reeve of Northern Sunrise County in Northern Alberta. Garrett is a successful entrepreneur with experience in the health and safety, resource sectors as well as municipal and First Nations government as a consultant and elected official. Originally trained as a Level 3 Industrial Attendant, then Emergency Medical Responder and Finally Emergency Medical Technician, Garrett went on to own and manage a private EMS and Safety company for over a decade and has worked in multiple areas of the health care system. While living in his rural indigenous community, Garrett has developed a strong interest in indigenous health needs and delivery models and he remains an active emergency services volunteer in his home community. Garrett is also Managing Director of BlueDot Group of Companies which focuses on assisting First Nations to capitalize on entrepreneurial opportunities.

Taylor, Joanne

Joanne Taylor is a consultant that works with groups and organizations helping them to achieve their goals and objectives. Joanne has decades of Board and Committee experiences and was a former employee with the Alberta Government. Joanne has been a member of and chaired many non-profits in Alberta. Joanne was in the Native Studies program at the U of A, Executive Management Program of U of A and Business at Grant MacEwen University.

Jones, Tamara

Tamara is an advocate and mentor serving her community who partners with executives, charities and entrepreneurs. She is an Alberta Appointed Marriage Commissioner since 2007. She has been a public speaker for over 20 years including local and national media. She is a spokesperson and advocate for prevention of family violence advocating for many non-profit organizations in Calgary. She is an award-winning professional receiving notable accolades including 2016 Calgary Woman of Inspiration. Tamara holds a Diploma in Human Resources from UofC.
