Ewasechko, Kim Arthur
Kim Ewasechko has substantive financial management and commercial experience garnered from a diverse global energy and environmental market career of approximately two decades. Over the past decade Kim has leveraged this experience and deployed it in the Not-for-Profit sector as a Board and Finance Committee Member at the Canadian Liver Foundation, and Board Member and Vice Chair of the Canadian Spondylitis Association. Kim holds a Masters of Economics degree from the uCalgary and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the uAlberta.
Roskey, Susan
Susan Roskey credits 38 years at IBM with ongoing technology-based and executive business education. She served the PREP board, a school preparing children with Down syndrome for integration into their community school. She served on a committee to fundraise for charities falling under the United Way's radar, chaired a fall fair for a decade to bring together community, returning fall school with residents and seniors. She has volunteered for the employee UW campaign, STEM4Girls, Junior Achievement, FIRSTRobotics, and Youth Centres of Calgary.
Armstrong, Steven
Steven Armstrong, born and raised in Ontario, has called Calgary his home for the past 13 years. He obtained a Masters of Science degree from the University of London, United Kingdom focusing on Community and home care systems across Canada. Mr. Armstrong spent 22 years of his life in the Canadian Army as an infantry soldier leading soldiers in military operations and retiring in 1998 as a Company Sergeant Major. He also worked as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Norman Wells in the Northwest Territories. Mr. Armstrong has also worked with the Canadian Red Cross planning and leading relief & recovery responses for the following: The 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfires; The 2013 Alberta Floods; The 2011 Slave Lake Fires; 2004 Tsunami; The 2003 Blackout; The 2003 British Columbia firestorms; September 11 Terrorist Attacks, etc.
Mr. Armstrong has been passionate about working in the health sector, particularly in the delivery of emergency health care in times of conflict and disaster, and community-based health and homecare. He has extensive experience serving quasi-judicial and judicial bodies as an investigator, an adjudicator and as a governance advisor.
Garner, Scott
Scott Garner retired from Syncrude Canada Ltd. where he held senior management positions in the areas of: Finance, Internal Audit, Strategic Project Development and Corporate Business Control.
Scott has also served as a former Vice President of the Alberta Senior Communities Association. He was also a board member with Westwind Communities, and the Wood Buffalo Housing and Development Corporation. Scott was the former Chairman of the Northern Lights Regional Health Authority in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
Sansregret, Bonnie
Bonnie Sansregret is a grassroots Albertan who has a passion for health care especially in really rural underserviced areas of the Province. Bonnie has had extensive Board and committee experience spanning over 25 years from the days of local Hospital Boards to Regional Boards and was a public member of the Rural Health Review in 2014-2015. She was a municipal councillor and Board member of the Special Areas during 2002-2018.
Obiefuna, Peter
Peter Obiefuna is a lawyer and Managing Counsel at Arizen Law, Edmonton. Peter has experience sitting on the Municipal Government Board, the Edmonton Police Service Chief's Advisory Council Committee, as well as other community-based committees. Peter has university experience in medical and nursing education, in biomedical research and industry experience in computer science. He holds a PhD. in Physiology (Lagos), an MS in Computer Science (East Carolina, USA) and an LLB (Hons, London, England).
