DeVuyst, Mike

Mike DeVuyst is a School Principal who works with students in grades 1 to 12 in an alternative educational setting to help students in home, distance and outreach programs. Mike was previously elected to three terms on Cardston Town Council and has served on the Administration, Agriculture, and Golf Course committees. Mike is a certified teacher and school leader and has undertaken numerous professional development opportunities in 30 years in education. Mike holds a BA in History & Political Science from UofC and a B.Ed from UBC.

Dueck, Kenton

Kenton Dueck is a Senior Commercial Insurance Specialist working with clients in NW Alberta to provide comprehensive general and group benefit insurance solutions. He is a board member of the Grande Prairie chapter for BILD Alberta and the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta. For community service, Kenton was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Zabel, Alexandra

Alexandra (Alex) Zabel is the founder and owner of SWAY Marketing, a social media marketing company she has run for more than five years. She has previously volunteered with a number of originations including the Sheep River Health Trust, Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce, Calgary Health Trust, KidSport Okotoks, and more. She graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor in Business Administration and continues to develop herself through education.

Rasheed, Muhammad

I am working with AHS since 1977 in various positions presently director operation since 1992 managing engineering and trades staff. I have completed successfully my MBA.MHS- HRM, (DBA on line, two year of LLB. Volunteer for many social, cultural and professional organizations in various capacities. Few are Hospital engineering Assn, National visible Minority council, Federal Business Bank, served as election observer, nationally and internationally, President National federation of Pakistani Canadians, Labor force development board and more.

Competencies required for members of the council of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists include risk management, effective verbal communication and governance. Muhammad Rasheed was directly recruited and appointed based on meeting the competencies, skills and attributes as described above.
