Baay, Paul

Paul Baay served as administrator of Banff Centre from October 2023 to April 2024. He is currently the president and chief executive officer of Touchstone Exploration Inc. Mr. Baay served as the chair of the board of directors of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and was a member of the board of trustees of the National Art Gallery of Canada. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in administrative and commercial studies from the University of Western Ontario and completed the Directors Education Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mr. Baay was directly appointed on the basis of meeting the competencies, skills, and attributes as described above.


Brinkerhoff, Brinna

Brinna Brinkerhoff CFA, currently serves on several boards in the arts and community finance industries, including as finance committee member with the National Music Centre, board president for Calgary Pro Musica Society, board member and investment committee chair with Local Investing YYC, and advisor and shareholder of Neuhoff Capital Corp. She was previously a corporate banker at ATB Financial, and before this a professional violinist. Ms. Brinkerhoff holds a Bachelor of Music degree cum laude from Rice University, a master of music degree from Indiana University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Ms. Brinkerhoff was directly appointed on the basis of meeting the competencies, skills, and attributes as described above.


Paine, Lori

Former executive director of Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society and ex-officio member of the society’s board of directors (2008 – 2023), she has held positions in corporate and community relations and fundraising with the Heart & Stroke Foundation of AB, NWT & Nunavut, Canadian Mental Health Association and SAIT Alumni Relations. Currently serving as a member of The Premier’s Council on Charities & Civil Society and Paddy Luke Fraternal Society, she has served on various boards and committees including past board secretary with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Central Council, and board member of Calgary Scope Society.

Ms. Paine was directly appointed on the basis of meeting the competencies, skills, and attributes as described above.


Sandhu, Pinder

An entrepreneur at heart, she is a private venture capitalist certified in real estate finance, commercial real estate, and innovation and entrepreneurship, in addition to being a licensed Real Estate Associate in Alberta.

Ms. Sandhu was directly appointed on the basis of meeting the competencies, skills, and attributes as described above.


Schmold, Naomi

Naomi Schmold is currently the Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel with Enbridge Inc. She is a board member and chair of the nominating and governance committee of the Banff Centre Foundation. Over the years, she has served on various committees and boards. She was a YWCA Edmonton board member, council member of the YWCA Edmonton Rose Campaign, board member with DirectHER and Kidsport Edmonton, chair of Enbridge Capital Region United Way Campaign, committee panel member with the Law Society of Alberta Conduct Committee, member of the artistic advisory committee with Edmonton Opera, member of the Edmonton Opera Chorus, and member of the University of Alberta Appeals Board. She was also executive member and co-chair of Women’s Law Forum with the Canadian Bar Association. Ms. Schmold holds a bachelor of laws and bachelor of music degree, both with distinction, from the University of Alberta.

Tetreault, Myron

Mr. Myron Tétreault is currently the lead director with PHX Energy Services Corp. He is the chairman of Calafate Holdings Ltd., West Aspen Holdings Ltd., and Stoked Oats Ltd., is a director of Fitzroy Developments Ltd. and is a member of The Law Society of Alberta as well as The Explorer’s Club. Prior to this, he was the chairman of Pieridae Energy Ltd.; co-founder, former chairman and a director of Webber Academy Foundation. He was also a co-founder, chairman, president and CEO of Octane Energy Services Ltd. and a lawyer at Bennett Jones LLP. Mr. Tétreault holds a juris doctor (JD) of law degree from the University of Saskatchewan and bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Ottawa. He also completed the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) - Director’s Education Program from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
