Hull, Patricia

Patricia Hull is a manager and educator with more than 20 years of experience in public, not-for-profit and private sector health and higher education.

She has a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Master’s degrees in Teaching and Human Nutrition. She is also a Certified Health Executive, Certified Human Resources Professional and Professional Project Manager.

Patricia has worked with a wide variety of government and community-based boards and advisory committees since 2000.

Der, Donald

Mr. Der has nearly 20 years of professional business experience. He is designated as a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Certified Health Insurance Specialist. He has excellent knowledge of the life insurance industry, and he is currently licensed to sell life insurance in Alberta. Mr. Der was first appointed to the Accreditation Committee on March 21, 2017.

Cooper, Terry

Dr. Cooper has more than 40 years of experience as an academic educator and has held leadership positions, including Dean of Science and Technology and Vice President Academic at Medicine Hat College. Dr. Cooper has more than 15 years of experience serving on and reporting to boards. He has an extensive adult education background and knowledge of the insurance industry. Dr. Cooper was first appointed to the Accreditation Committee on January 9, 2013.

Fischer, Patty

Patty Fischer is a Learning Development Lead with Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers. Her role is to develop training programs for new staff ad well as professional development initiatives for current employees. Patty has over 20 of experience in the insurance industry; her vast experience includes various commercial insurance roles with the most predominant being as a marketing broker in construction risk services. Patty holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and also CIP, CAIB and CRM designations.
