Eunice Friesen is the owner and business development manager at Bear Creek Funeral Home. She also serves on the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped Appeal Panel, Child Care Licensing Appeal Panel, Child Youth and Family Enhancement Appeal Panel, Income and Employment Supports Appeal Panel and the Persons with Developmental Disabilities Appeal Panel. She is also the vice-chair on the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau, director with the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie, chair of Revolution Place Advisory Board and director of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.

Grace Brittain is a Registered Nurse with a diverse background in health care management, education, and administrative justice. She has been a commissioner and ad hoc chair for the Appeals Commission for Alberta Worker’s Compensation Board, chair with the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped and public member on the Health Professions Act Hearing Tribunal Roster. Most recently, Grace was appointed as a Public Adjudicator for the Law Society of Alberta and is a public member with the Mental Health Review Panel Roster and board member with the Long Term Disability Second Level Appeal Board.

Brent Kassian holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alberta. He was the President of Capilano Rehab Centre and has worked in the field of rehabilitation and sports medicine. He is the Pro Chaplain for the Edmonton Elks Football Club. Brent's governance experience includes serving on the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta, the Alberta Physiotherapy Association Insurance Task Force, and the Alberta Department of Labour’s WCB Advisory Committee. Competencies required for the Citizen's Appeal Panel include the ability to apply legislation, make fair and impartial decisions, and give written reasons for decisions. Members must also have good communication and computer skills. Brent was directly recruited and appointed on the basis of acceptably meeting the competencies, skills and attributes as described above.

Donna Stelmachovich possesses a registered nurse designation from St. Michaels School of Nursing and completed the Health Care Administration Program at the University of Saskatchewan. Her governance experience includes Vice President of the Chinook Health Region where she provided the second last level of appeals for AISH, FSCD and PDD clients disputing service and funding levels. Ms. Stelmachovich retired as the Vice-President of Seniors Health for Alberta Health Services in 2010.
