Liu, John
John Liu, ICD.D, CPA, CA, BComm. serves as Secretary-Treasurer of Westmount Charter School Society, a school board with a charter granted by the Minister of Education. John is also the Co-Founder of HFDP Management Ltd., a Calgary-based consultancy.
John is a Member of the National Board of Directors and former Vice Chair of Supply Chain Canada, and has previously served as a Commissioner with the Calgary Police Commission, Vice Chair of the Alberta Association of Police Governance and as a Board Member with Brickburn Funds Inc.
McCorkell, Tammy
Tammy McCorkell is the Executive Director of a Provincial Harm Reduction Agency. The role furthers her work with strategic direction, governance and advocacy for vulnerable populations. As a CPHR, she specializes in corporate training and strength based leadership development. She has spent the last decade working within the Justice System, providing training to quasi-judicial boards in areas such as leadership, conflict resolution, administrative law, natural justice and the Youth Criminal Justice Act. She has extensive experience in community development, crime prevention, sentence adjudication, interpreting policy and legislation as well as program development and facilitation. Tammy has previously served on the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) and Income Support Appeals Boards. She currently sits on the City of Calgary’s Assessment Review Board and on the Council of the College of Alberta Denturists Regulatory Board. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) and holds a Degree in Communication and Culture (BCC) from the University of Calgary.
Andrews, Elaine
Elaine Andrews has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Alberta. She has more than 22 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of leadership roles. She’s been a Public Representative on the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta Provincial Council since October 2014 and on the Appeals Committee since 2015 and is an active volunteer with the Centre for Family Literacy, Habitat for Humanity and Wings of Providence.

Thunstrom, Sheldon
Mr. Sheldon Thunstrom has been a full-time faculty member in the Paramedic portfolio at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology for the last 23 years. He has participated on the SAIT Faculty Association Table of Officers for the past seven years. He served as a volunteer on the Alberta College of Paramedics on various committees including the Conduct and Competence and served as President of the college for six years. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal Roads University, and a Medical Technician Certificate from the Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
