Cardinal, Scott

Scott Cardinal serves as 1 of 5 elected Councillors with the Government of Kikino Metis Settlement. Mr. Cardinals professional background includes extensive work as a pipeline foreman, as well serving as a Seasonal Conservation Officer in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Mr. Cardinals as educational achievements include a Conservation Enforcement Degree from Lethbridge College and a Wildlife and Fisheries Major Diploma from Lakeland College. As a resolute husband and father of three, Mr. Cardinal is deeply committed to serving when called upon.

Gardner, Krista

Krista Gardner is the Mayor of the Town of Calmar and a passionate municipal leader committed to accountable, transparent local government. She previously served multiple terms as a Councillor, working on infrastructure, financial sustainability, and community development. Krista is Director Towns West and Vice President Towns for Alberta Municipalities and served on the Interim Police Advisory Board. She holds a BSc in Psychology and is known for her positive leadership style, clear communication, and dedication to building a strong community.

Schneider, Jason

Jason Schneider is President of McNabb & Schneider Farms Ltd., Reeve of Vulcan County (elected 2013), and Vice-President with the Rural Municipalities of Alberta (elected 2020). He also serves as Vice-President for the Genesis Reciprocal Insurance Exchange and Canoe Group of Companies. Jason sits on numerous boards and committees. He has completed the ICPM-Rotman Pension Governance Education Program (ICD.D), the Elected Officials Education Program, Incident Command System training, and holds a Computer Engineering Technology diploma from SAIT.

Voyageur, Claris

Since 1989, Claris Voyageur has been the Deputy Fire Chief of the Fort Chipewyan Volunteer Fire Department. She also works as a Manager for Seniors Housing with the Wood Buffalo Housing and Development Corporation in Fort Chipewyan since 1986, and a board member with the Youth Justice Committee in Fort Chipewyan. Claris was previously the Chair of the Nunee Health Board Society and Ward 2 Councillor for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Claris Voyageur was directly recruited and appointed to the Provincial Police Advisory Board on the basis of acceptably meeting the competencies, skills and attributes required by the Board.

Johnston, Jeff

Jeff Johnston currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Beaverlodge and is an appointed Director of Mountview Health Limited Partnership. He previously held leadership roles including positions with the Ministry of Transportation and Highways in Prince George/BC. Jeff is a Registered Engineering Technologist (R.E.T.) with the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET) and a Certified Director (ICD.D) through the Institute of Corporate Directors. He contributed to many boards and committees.

Schebek, David

Dave Schebek has served as Councillor and Chair of Improvement District No. 9 since 2005, working with stakeholders to enhance infrastructure and promote sustainable growth. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Lake Louise Ski Resort and Summer Gondola. Throughout his career, Dave has been dedicated to elevating the visitor experience while ensuring a high quality of life for the local community. Dave has been a Director as well as Chair of the Lake Louise Banff Municipal Services Society and the Bow Valley Regional Transit Services Commission since their inception, focusing on regional connectivity and essential services.

LaJeunesse, Ronald

Ron LaJeunesse had over 30 years experience in education, health and criminal justice prior to retiring in 2009. He has served as an Edmonton Police Commissioner and chair of advisory groups to the St. Albert and Wetaskiwin RCMP. He has taught at the College level, served in the most senior positions in health service, on school boards and for eight years as a municipal Deputy-Mayor. He has received numerous honours including two Governor Generals medals and Alberta’s top literary award for one of his four books.

Ron LaJeunesse was directly recruited and appointed to the Provincial Police Advisory Board on the basis of acceptably meeting the competencies, skills and attributes required by the Board.

Moser, Blake

Blake Moser is the Chair of the Hardisty and District Development Group and the Founding President of the East 13 Rural Crime Watch Association. Mr. Moser works in Alberta’s midstream oil and gas sector and is a business owner. He also serves as a firefighter and Training Officer within local fire departments and holds Incident Command and other emergency response leadership credentials, along with a Bachelor of Commerce in Management from the University of Saskatchewan.
