Rasheed, Muhammad

I am working with AHS since 1977 in various positions presently director operation since 1992 managing engineering and trades staff. I have completed successfully my MBA.MHS- HRM, (DBA on line, two year of LLB. Volunteer for many social, cultural and professional organizations in various capacities. Few are Hospital engineering Assn, National visible Minority council, Federal Business Bank, served as election observer, nationally and internationally, President National federation of Pakistani Canadians, Labor force development board and more.

Competencies required for members of the council of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists include risk management, effective verbal communication and governance. Muhammad Rasheed was directly recruited and appointed based on meeting the competencies, skills and attributes as described above.

DeVuyst, Mike

Mike DeVuyst is a School Principal who works with students in grades 1 to 12 in an alternative educational setting to help students in home, distance and outreach programs. Mike was previously elected to three terms on Cardston Town Council and has served on the Administration, Agriculture, and Golf Course committees. Mike is a certified teacher and school leader and has undertaken numerous professional development opportunities in 30 years in education. Mike holds a BA in History & Political Science from UofC and a B.Ed from UBC.

Zabel, Alexandra

Alexandra (Alex) Zabel is the founder and owner of SWAY Marketing, a social media marketing company she has run for more than five years. She has previously volunteered with a number of originations including the Sheep River Health Trust, Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce, Calgary Health Trust, KidSport Okotoks, and more. She graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor in Business Administration and continues to develop herself through education.

Walls, Brad

Brad Walls is an Emergency Communications Officer with extensive board governance experience and a background as a former Town Councillor. Brad brings operational expertise and has served in key board roles, including Past President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Strathmore and District Agricultural Society. He is a certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher and holds a High School Diploma from Strathmore High School.

DiMarcello, Diana

Diana DiMarcello is a former Executive with Canada Revenue Agency and has over 33 years experience working with Canadians in various capacities. She has significant Executive Leadership experience. Diana was accountable for a large budget with over 430 employees. She was responsible for delivering a successful program to Canadians, creating a healthy and thriving workplace, and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Diana has also served on many National, Regional and Local advisory boards, and committees for the Canada Revenue Agency. Diana also served as a Champion for a number of initiatives for workplace improvement. Diana mentors and coaches a number of olleagues and finds great fulfillment in playing a small part in others’ successes. Diana holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta with a specialization in Accounting. Diana is also the first graduate of the Canada Revenue Agency’s leadership Development Program that recognizes high potential leaders with versatility and resilience and is now a Champion and mentor for this National program. Diana is a finalist for the Canada Revenue Agency Award of Excellence for leadership and for innovation. Diana is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for being a positive role model and being respected for her dedication, professionalism, and integrity. Diana is a recipient of the Woman of Vision award two years in a row for her empowering and inspirational leadership.

Oltean, Mirela

Mirela Oltean is a pharmacy assistant working at Imagine Health Pharmacy helping the pharmacist to dispense medication. Mirela has no board/ committee experiences in Canada. Mirela is a chemist certified by ACPA and full member, international pharmacist with no license to practice in Canada. Mirela holds also a degree in Pharmacy recognized by PEBC as Masters in Pharmacy.
