Becker, Ryan

Ryan Becker is a proven executive leader with 25+ years of experience in law enforcement, civil construction, and organizational management. A retired RCMP officer and Detachment Commander, he has expertise in police oversight, emergency planning, and Indigenous partnerships across Western and Northern Canada. Currently he is the CEO of a construction company, Ryan excels in strategic planning, risk management, and operational efficiency, bringing a commitment to governance and public safety excellence. Ryan Becker was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.

Parhar, Satpal Singh

Sat Parhar has had a progressive career in law enforcement, with extensive leadership responsibilities at the Calgary Police Service. Throughout his tenure, he has consistently shown a commitment to being a transparent, collaborative, accountable, and trusted leader who is dedicated to fostering trust and respect within his teams and the broader community. Sat was awarded the Officers Order of Merit of the police Forces, the Queen' Platinum Jubilee Medal, the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Chief of Police Life Saving Award. Sat Parhar was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.

Mauro, Joe

Joe Mauro was born, raised, and is a lifelong resident of Lethbridge. Joe is a University of Lethbridge Alumni. Joe served 6 terms as a City Councillor, served on Lethbridge Police Commission hiring 3 Police Chiefs, and served on Council Committee hiring 2 City Managers. Joe's community involvement includes: Played and coached for 45+ years, coached the Lethbridge College Men's team, University of Lethbridge Alumni Association Director, and Resident and family Advisory council Chair for St Michael's Covenant Health. Joe Mauro was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.

Clayton, Jackie

Jackie Clayton has been a resident of Grande Prairie since 1999, first elected to City Council in 2013 and then elected as Mayor in October 2021. She is an engaged community volunteer, a past President of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce and has been a proud Rotarian since 2001. Jackie is an entrepreneur whose professional career has included many roles in the marketing and public relations. She is business-minded and future focused and believes you can only expect a community to give you as much as you are willing to give it. Jackie Clayton was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.

Warren, Chris

Christopher Warren K.C. BA, LLB, is a lawyer and senior partner in the Red Deer law firm Warren Sinclair LLP. Chris is, and has been, actively involved in Board and committee positions with local charities, professional associations, and Rotary Club of Red Deer. His past work has also included being a director of a publicly traded corporation listed on the TSX where he chaired the Governance Committee. Christopher Warren was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.

Manywounds, Teddy

Teddy Manywounds is currently the Justice and Public Safety Director with the G4 Stoney Nakoda Tsuut’ina First Nations. Teddy co-chairs the Tsuut'ina Nation Tosguna Police Commission. Teddy has been on an Assembly of First Nations policing task force since 2022. Teddy is a member of the Indigenous Advisory Council for the Alberta Human Rights Commission. Teddy is the current Chair for the First Nations Canadian Association of Police Governance. Teddy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Parsons New School for Design, New York City. Teddy Manywounds was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.

Corbould, Andre

As a Senior Advisor at ISP, Andre excels at aligning an organization’s objectives with decision-makers, ensuring projects are executed using direct, swift, & impactful routes. Prior to ISP he was Edmonton’s City Manager from Jan 2021 - Apr 2024. While working in the Government of Alberta from 2012 to 2021, he was appointed Deputy Minister of six departments. While serving in the Canadian Forces, he commanded teams on domestic & international missions, including Iraq, Kuwait, East Timor, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. He retired as a Brigadier General. Andre Corbould was appointed to the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board based on that individual’s skills, knowledge and experience.
