Ogle, Kelly

Kelly J. Ogle is a senior executive, scholar and published author with several decades of entrepreneurial and public policy experience covering several business sectors including oil and gas, agriculture, trucking, residential development and golf course construction and operations. He has also served as a board member/Chairman for various corporations, public, private and not-for-profit and has experience in all committee types; health and safety, audit, compensation and corporate governance. Mr. Ogle has also participated in the securing and disbursement of more than $1 Billion in debt and equity funding, managed the clearing of numerous prospectuses, Annual Information Forms and Information Circulars. As well, he has orchestrated the merger, acquisition, strategic alternatives processes and/or sale of numerous corporations as CEO, President and/or Managing Director.

Swampy, Dale

Dale Swampy is a member of the Samson Cree Nation in Maskwacis, Alberta, and a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics. In 2016, he started the National Coalition of Chiefs (NCC). Currently, the NCC works with Chiefs from across Canada and is committed to “Defeating On-Reserve Poverty” through positive dialogue and partnership with Canada’s natural resource industry. Dale is a board member and/or provides advisory services to several organizations including the Canadian Energy Regulator.

Birn, Kevin

Kevin Birn leads the Centre of Emission Excellence at S&P Global Commodity Insights. He has over a decade of experience engaging and advising governments and industry on emission accounting as well as decarbonization strategies. Kevin is also an established thought leader on the Canadian energy market. Kevin is currently a fellow at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute, and a strategic advisor at Avatar Innovations. He holds a undergraduate degree in business, and graduate degree in economics from the University of Alberta.

Wilson, Sherri

Sherri Wilson is the Deputy Minister of Environment and Protected Areas with the Government of Alberta, where she leads efforts to support environmental protection and conservation, and sustainable economic prosperity.

Sherri has spent more than two decades in the public service bringing experience in strategic planning, policy development, and program delivery. Working with diverse stakeholders, she has provided leadership as Deputy Minister in several portfolios and has served in a number of executive roles in the ministries of Advanced Education, Children’s Services, Treasury Board and Finance, and Health.

Sherri has served on a variety of boards including Northern Alberta YMCA, the Management Employee Pension Plan and most recently has been appointed the government representative to the board of Emissions Reduction Alberta.

Cullum, Stuart

Stuart Cullum is President of Red Deer Polytechnic - supporting education and applied research in manufacturing, energy, social innovation and health. Stuart has experience in the private, finance, post-secondary and non-profit sectors, and extensive board/committee experience, including with Covenant Health, Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network, Post-Secondary International Network and Alberta Skills for Jobs Taskforce. Stuart is ICD.D accredited with an MBA, University of Alberta and BEd and BA, University of Lethbridge.
