Steinbach, Laurie

Laurie Steinbach obtained her Bachelor of Social Welfare degree from the University of Calgary. She began her career as a social worker for the Government of Alberta working in southern Alberta as a case worker in Juvenile Probation, Child Welfare and in Handicapped Children’s Services. Ms. Steinbach returned to university to obtain her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge. She then taught as an elementary generalist, as a Student Support teacher, and as a school counsellor in Bassano, Alberta and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Ms. Steinbach currently works as a substitute teacher.

Etokudo, Patrick

Edem (Patrick) Etokudo is a General Manager, Operations Services at Sherritt International Corp. He has board/committee experience, including the boards of CCIS and Supply Chain Canada, AB; National Fellowship Award Committee of Supply Chain Canada, Program committee of SAIT and Bow Valley College. He is 2017 Alberta Supply Chain Executive of the Year and 2018 Fellow of Supply Chain Canada. Patrick has undergraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Sc in Procurement from the University of Galamorgan, Pontypridd, Wales.

Clark, Garnet

Garnet Clark is a CPA, CMA with over 30 years of experience as a financial executive in the mining, oil & gas and construction industries both internationally and domestically. Garnet is currently the Board Chair for Pilgrims Hospice Society which provides compassionate care for individuals living with a terminal illness. Pilgrims Hospice Society operates the Roozen Family Hospice Centre. Garnet served on the Board of Governors of NAIT and was Chair, Audit & Finance. Garnet holds an MBA from Athabasca University.

Laboucan, Rhonda

Rhonda Charlene Laboucan is the Chief Executive Officer with Fort McKay First Nation in Treaty 8 territory since January 2024. Former Regional Executive Officer with First Nation's Inuit Health Branch, Indigenous Services Canada for over 15 + years. Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta in Native Studies. Former Band Administrator for her home community of the Woodland Cree First Nation as well served a term as Councillor and A/Chief for her home Nation. Rhonda is a former Police Commissioner Chair from the KeeTasKeeNow Police Service and formerly sat as a public member for the Peace Regional Health Authority.

Merrifield, Robert

Honourable Rob Merrifield, P.C. has a long and distinguished history of public service affecting local, provincial and federal health policy. This includes 20 years on local health boards, many as Chair, and 14 as a Member of Parliament – serving as Sr Health Critic and Chair of the Standing committee on Health. Merrifield sat on the Treasury Board of Canada, was Chair of both Finance and the House Standing Committee on International Trade, and member of the Board of Internal Economy. Raised on a dairy, Rob still finds time to help harvest.

Zhang, Pan

Pan Zhang, is currently a finance instructor at NAIT with extensive experience working with local and international governments and other public sectors. The recent pandemic put our healthcare system under unprecedented capacity stress test and there is a heightened need for stronger public health measures while providing ongoing quality health care. She is honored to bring a public voice to the board and to work with a group of committed professionals to be part of the solution.

Day, Logan

Logan Stockrich Day is a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Strategy and Transactions practice. He has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and M&A.

Logan Stockrich Day has served on the board of The Support Network, and Kids Up Front.

Logan Stockrich Day has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia University of Edmonton.

Logan Stockrich Day is a Registered Series 7 and 63 license holder and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member.
