Lavin, Chris

Mr. Chris Lavin is a Regional Managing Partner for the MNP Prairies Consulting practice based in Edmonton and a Fellow Certified Management Consultant.

He has served on several boards including the Certified Management Consultants of Alberta, CMC-Canada, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, and Kids Help Phone-Edmonton chapter, and he is currently serving as President of the Derrick Golf & Winter Club. Mr. Lavin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen's University.

Snape, Ashley

Ms. Ashley Snape is the Director of People and Culture with Thrive Health. She has held leadership positions for-profit and non-profit organizations, including DEVFACTO, Surehire Occupational Testing, and YMCA of Northern Alberta. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Norwood Child & Family Resource Center. She is a Change Management Practitioner and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, a Human Resources and Labour Relations Certificate from Athabasca University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge.

Parham, June

Ms. June Parham has been an Instructor in NorQuest College’s Health Care Aide program since 2001. Prior to NorQuest College, she was a Traveling Nurse with Cross Country TravCorps for 12 years within the United States of America. Ms. Parham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alberta and a Nursing diploma from Red Deer Polytechnic.

Adams, Jenny

Ms. Jenny Adams is the Founder and Owner of The Adams Agency, a strategic communications and public relations firm. She currently serves as a member on the Downtown Recovery Coalition and has served on several volunteer boards and committees, including the Lois Hole Hospital Women’s Society, Edmonton Mayor’s Business Roundtable, and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Tee Up For Tots Committee. She holds an Asian Pacific Management diploma from MacEwan University and is currently enrolled in the Executive Certificate program in Public Leadership with the Harvard Kennedy School.

Cleall, Jennifer

Ms. Jennifer Cleall is a Partner in DLA Piper’s Edmonton office where she practices business law, with a particular emphasis on corporate/commercial and real estate matters. She serves as the Provincial Minister’s Appointee on the Federal Judiciary Advisory Committee – Alberta. She is a former board member on the Edmonton Glenora PC Association and a former board member of The Support Network. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta.

Decore, Joette

Ms. Joette Decore is the Executive Principal and Co-Chief Executive Officer with RJC Engineering. She currently serves as Chair of the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and is the Government of Alberta Red Tape Reduction Construction Industry Panel Co-Chair. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University.

Dogbefou, Ama

Ms. Ama Dogbefou is currently enrolled in the social work program and has served as a students’ council representative since 2022. Ms. Dogbefou is also an active volunteer serving as a Community Support Worker with Excel Society and as a member of the Women’s Coalition of Alberta. She previously worked at the Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord on the Alberta Health Project, promoting mental health, and was a Psychosocial Counsellor before coming to Canada in 2017. Ms. Dogbefou holds a Social Work Diploma from the University of Togo.

Heron, Robert

Mr. Robert Heron is a Partner with Kingston Ross Pasnak LLP. He previously served as the Director of ONEC Construction Group, Director of the Edmonton Elks Football Club Board, Chair of the Capital Regional Housing Corporation, and Chairman of the Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and holds the ICD.D designation. Mr. Heron holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and completed the In-Depth Tax Specialization Program.

Andrews, Lawrence

Mr. Lawrence Andrews is Cree-Métis from East Prairie Métis Settlement in Edmonton, Alberta. He has a Digital Media Production diploma from the Edmonton Digital Arts College, and an Aboriginal Multi Media Arts certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing a Business Administration diploma with a focus on Human Resources at NorQuest College. He has been actively involved in the Indigenous Student Center (Miyo-pimâtisiwin), where he provides lessons in making dreamcatchers and creates beaded lanyards for sale in the college bookstore. He also volunteers with the Students’ Association of NorQuest College and is a member of the Pride Committee and NQ Indigenous Art Council.

James, Supriya

Ms. Supriya James is the Senior Vice-President of Human Resources with Canadian Western Bank. She is the past President of the Board of Directors of the YWCA Edmonton. Ms. James is a Certified Executive Coach and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Xavier’s College and a Masters degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Naqvi-Rota, Tina

Ms. Tina Naqvi-Rota is the Chief Executive Officer of Cameron Corporation, an Alberta based real estate development company. She has served on several boards including Compassion House Foundation, Catholic Social Services, Alberta School of Business Advisory Committee, and the Gala Committee for Autism Edmonton. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Alberta.

Pickering, Brad

Mr. Bradley C. Pickering has served many years in the provincial and municipal government sector in senior leadership roles including Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Parks and Recreation, Deputy Minister of Sustainable Resource Development, and Deputy Solicitor General and Deputy Minister Public Security. He has also served on the boards of Travel Alberta, Alberta Capital Finance Authority, and the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute.

Hugo, Daniel

Mr. Hugo is the Chief Financial Officer at ATB Financial, where he is responsible for the overall financial health of ATB. Mr. Hugo joined ATB in January 2020 with over 30 years of financial, operational, and business leadership experience, including time spent with Capital One, Bank of America, and eBay. Mr. Hugo is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. Though originally from South Africa, Mr. Hugo spent most of his professional career in the United States, where he gained extensive experience in banking, finance, and technology. Mr. Hugo is also currently on the Board of Directors for the Edmonton Humane Society.
