Maligec, Christine
With over 15 years of insurance and risk management experience, Christine Maligec is able to bridge her understanding across multiple industries and disciplines to look at risk from a holistic perspective.
In 2014, Christine started an informal, grassroots ERM networking group in Edmonton. In addition, she supports the Conference Board of Canada’s Strategic Risk Council by sitting on its executive council. As well as writing several articles for its membership periodical, presenting at conferences and facilitating round table discussions on risk.
As an active Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) member, Christine has been involved with her local RIMS chapter for almost a decade and is currently the President of the Northern Alberta chapter.Christine is also working with her board to host the RIMS Canada Conference in September 2019; the second largest risk management conference in the world.
Wyton, Carmen
Carmen Wyton is the Chief Executive Officer of BILD Alberta providing governance leadership and direction to the amalgamation of two provincial building industry organizations. She is the founder of the Women's Health Coalition (Alberta), and current Chair of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (Alberta). She has served in board advisory roles including Chair of the Premiers Council on the Status of Persons with Disabilities. She has more than 20 years experience in the private and public sectors of health and disabilities.
West, Jason
Jason West is the President of Newman Theological College in Edmonton. He has Chaired the board of a non-profit newspaper and is Past-President of a national Academic association. He is currently a member of the Board at St. Joseph's College at University of Alberta.
Jason has published widely in philosophy and has taught at several universities in Canada, including courses in medical ethics. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo.
Letander, Kenneth
Hoensbroech, Nicola
Nicola von Hoensbroech is the head of the governance committee of World Vision Austria since 2021. Before, she was founding CEO of the company DeinKindergeschirr for which she received the German provincial Founders of the Year award and sold it in 2020. She is a mother of five and holds a BSc from the London School of Economics. She also fulfilled two trainee programs with the Oetker Group (food and beverages, consumer goods) and with GlaxoSmithKline (pharmaceuticals). She moved to Calgary in 2022.
