Dhaliwal-Bassi, Kim Jot (Karen)

Ms. Kirn Jot Dhaliwal-Bassi is an English as an Additional Language Consultant and Reading Specialist Consultant with Edmonton Public Schools. She currently serves as Vice President of the Northern Alberta Reading Specialists Council and is a member of the International Literacy Association.


Ms. Dhaliwal-Bassi holds a Master of Education degree with a focus on language and literacy, a Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Ottawa.

Stringer, Jonathan

Mr. Jonathan Stringer is the Vice President of Operations and Indigenous Relations at Black Diamond Group. He was previously the Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations and General Manager of Indigenous Relations at Black Diamond Group. He is currently the Board Chair of the Independent Contractors Building Association. Mr. Stringer holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Religious Education from Vanguard College.

Pavlenko, Svetlana

Svetlana Pavlenko is the Executive Director of the JDIC Senior's Centre. She served as President Elect 2020 and Fundraising Chair of the Edmonton Riverview Rotary Club, and the Secretary of the Board of Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts. She holds a MA degree from the University of Guelph, an MBA in Public Administration from the Siberian Academy of Public Administration and Marketing, and a PhD in Social Sciences from the Novosibirsk State Technical University in Russia.
