Petermann, Lisa
Lisa Petermann is the President of her own company and a published researcher in diverse fields. She had represented Canadian health interests in multi-national research studies and organizational collaborations. Lisa has been involved in the community through CAN Learn Board of Directors, Vibrant Communities Calgary: Poverty Reduction Initiative and SAIT Students' Association.
Eagle, Christopher
Christopher Eagle is currently Board Chair at the Alberta Cancer Foundation. He has served in a number of Board and administrative positions in healthcare, for example, as President and CEO of Alberta Health Services. Chris was a specialist physician with training in cardiac anesthesiology. In that capacity, he served as professor and chair of the department of anesthesia at the University of Calgary. Chris is Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary.
Mandel, Stephen
By joining the Alberta Health Services Board, Stephen Mandel continues his long and distinguished career of public service to Albertans. Following three years on Edmonton city council, Mr. Mandel was elected the 34th Mayor of Edmonton in 2004 and he served in that position until 2013. The next year, he was named Alberta Minister of Health and elected MLA for Edmonton-Whitemud. Mr. Mandel served as leader of the Alberta Party in 2018-19, and is currently Chancellor of Concordia University of Edmonton. Mr. Mandel holds an associate of arts degree, a bachelor of science in business administration and a masters in political science, and has been self-employed for the past 47 years in real estate, development and small construction. He and his wife, Lynn, have been married for 46 years, raising two children. Together, Mr. Mandel and his wife volunteer and support many community groups from healthcare to arts groups and not-for-profits.
