Platonova, Inna

Inna Platonova holds a PhD in Environmental Design from the University of Calgary and has graduate degrees from Ukraine, Hungary and the Netherlands. She brings extensive interdisciplinary applied research experience and expertise in sustainable energy, international development partnerships and environment. She serves as the President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Calgary Branch, an umbrella organization representing the Ukrainian community organizations and the Ukrainian community at large in Calgary and area.

Armstrong-Homeniuk, Jackie

Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk was elected MLA for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville on April 16, 2019. She studied business and economic development at MacEwan University and the University of Calgary, is a journeyman hairstylist, small business owner, and an active community volunteer and philanthropist. She is chair of the Advisory Council on Alberta-Ukraine Relations and the government’s Skilled Trades Caucus and serves on the Legislative Assembly's Standing Committees on Public Accounts, Alberta’s Economic Future, and Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing.

Boitchenko, Andrew

Andrew Boitchenko is currently a Director at the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and has over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate. He attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Milentyev, Vitaliy

Born (1977) and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, Milentyev moved to Canada in 1999 in pursuit of a second Master’s Degree in Economics at the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg). Milentyev’s professional path has been always in the area of investments and finance, starting from an investment analyst to the current position in the executive capacity at one of Edmonton’s independent investment firms. In 2005-2008, Milentyev was privileged to work back in Ukraine on building an Investment Desk for one of the large international banks. Community service and helping people has also been part of Milentyev’s life, by way of serving in various community organizations and teaching assignments. Currently, Milentyev serves as the president for Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce – Alberta Chapter and a member of the Synergy Network. Throughout the years, Milentyev has been a member of or served on the boards of such organizations as the Rotary Club of Edmonton, Ukrainian Canadian Congress and the Ukrainian Research and Development Centre. Milentyev has also taught several finance courses at the University of Lethbridge (Edmonton campus). Ukraine remains a point of great interest and passion for Milentyev, due not only to his origins, but out of a desire to see the country as a prospering and democratic society. Milentyev is privileged to be using his experience and skills to help bring that dream closer to reality.
