Christensen, Chris
Chris Christensen is part of a third-generation mixed farming operation running 350 cow-calf pairs and farming 10,000 acres – 5,000 acres of crop, 3,000 acres of grassland and 2,000 acres of upland hay.
Since 1999 he has been heavily involved in the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, the Agricultural Service Board and the Environmental Farm Planning Review Committee for the MD of Wainwright No. 61. In these capacities, he addressed various agricultural concerns including wind turbine development, environmental stewardship practices, the development and evaluation of government programs and program development, promotion and review.
Chris is a long-time member of the community and has participated in and held Board positions for the Edgerton Agricultural Society and Edgerton Curling Club. He brings his skills in planning, analysis and organization to all his board positions.
