Membre actif de la communauté francophone de Lethbridge, François a œuvré pendant 20 ans au sein de trois organismes pour doter la communauté des infrastructures et services nécessaires à son épanouissement. François a dirigé des conseils d’administration francophones qui ont mené des dossiers complexes en collaboration avec des intervenants de divers secteurs. François est titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences et poursuit son développement en leadership à l'Institut sur la gouvernance.
François has been an active member of the Francophone community of Lethbridge for the past 20 years. During that time, he worked with three organizations to provide the community with the infrastructure and services it needed to develop. François has led boards of directors of organizations that managed complex files involving a variety of stakeholders. François has a doctorate in science, and continues personal development in leadership at the Institute of Governance.
Descendante des fondateurs de Plamondon, Kyrsti est enseignante en immersion française à l’école secondaire de sa communauté, Morinville. Sa famille ayant perdu la langue, Kyrsti a acquis le français comme langue seconde et, aujourd’hui, elle a le plaisir de partager sa passion pour la vie en français et le bilinguisme avec les jeunes. Depuis ses études au Campus Saint-Jean, Kyrsti a contribué à plusieurs organismes en plus d’être membre de la famille fondatrice du Hair Massacure.
Descendant of the founders of Plamondon, Kyrsti is a French immersion teacher at her community’s high school in Morinville. Her family having lost the language, Kyrsti learned French as a second language and, today, she has the pleasure of sharing her passion for living in French and bilingualism with her community’s youth. Since her studies at Campus Saint-Jean, Kyrsti has contributed to several organizations as well as being a member of the founding family of the Hair Massacure.
Lori Karwandy is a retired French teacher/facilitator who is actively involved in promoting all things French in her region. She received La Prix Martin-Lavoie in 2016 and this year was named Volunteer of the Year with her local teacher's group. She is on the board of the local Canadian Parents for French chapter, second vice president with her retired teacher's group, secretary for her church women's group as well as her golf group. In years past, she was vice president, then president of the local Second Languages Council Chapter.
