Brown, Daniel
Mr. Daniel Brown is a retired professional engineer, including a 25-year career with Syncrude Canada. He has served on several boards, including six years as a member of the University of Alberta Senate and former corporate secretary and Governance Committee chair of the Aboriginal Human Resource Council. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, and a trade certificate with an interprovincial endorsement in the Instrument Mechanic Technician trade from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Pincock, Jason
Mr. Jason Pincock is the Chief Executive Officer of DynaLIFE Medical Labs. He participates in various bio-tech related industry groups, works with Economic Development, and participates on various community committees and boards including Little Warriors and the Bissell Centre. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a graduate of the Queen's Executive Program, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mauthe, Kris
Mr. Kris Mauthe is the Founder of One Team Strategies and the Director of Access Point of Care Diagnostics. Prior to, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Argus Machine Co. Ltd. Mr. Mauthe has provided business expertise for the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s accounting program advisory committee. He was the recipient of the 2015 Alumni Award of Distinction from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, where he graduated in accounting. He is a Certified Professional Accountant and is completing the ICD.D program with the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Verhesen, Paul
Mr. Paul Verhesen is the past President and Chief Executive Officer of the Clark Builders Group of Companies, a commercial, industrial, and institutional builder operating throughout western and northern Canada. He is an alumnus of the University of Alberta, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a major in construction.

Williams, Kristina
Ms. Kristina Williams is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alberta Enterprise Corporation and is the Honorary Consul for Sweden in North America. She is a member of the North American Construction Group and Alcanna Board of Directors, and she also serves on the Alberta Securities Commission New Economy Advisory Committee. She holds an MBA from the University of Alberta, a Master of Laws degree from Uppsala University in Sweden, an accreditation for the Venture Capital Executive Program from the University of California, as well as an ICD.D from the ICD-Rotman Director Education Program.

Cameron, Don
Mr. Don Cameron has been with Dow Chemicals since 1992 and is currently the Alberta Operations Site Director and Vice President of Dow Canada. He represents Dow Chemical on the University of Houston Chemical Engineering Department Industry Advisory Board and is the University Team Captain for Dow’s recruiting team at the University of Houston. He holds Master of Business Administration degree from Northwood University in Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering/Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.

Jivraj, Yasmin
Ms. Yasmin Jivraj has served on the Board of Governors since March 2017 and is a member of the Executive Committee. She served as Vice Chair of the board, Chair of the Governance Committee, and member of the Finance and Audit Committee. She is the co-owner of Dexcent, an industrial automation engineering consulting company. She co-founded the company Atlas Systems Group, which then merged with CompCanada to become Acrodex, where she assumed the role of President. She is a board member on numerous boards, including Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Alberta Blue Cross. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Alberta and an Honorary Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She is a certified Information Systems Professional, a certified Management Consultant, and is a Fellow in the Canadian Information Processing Society. She is also the recipient of a University of Alberta Alumni Honour Award.
Royer, Lorraine
Ms. Lorraine Royer is General Manager, Policy & Governments with Inter Pipeline Ltd. Prior to joining Inter Pipeline, she was Manager, Government and Stakeholder Relations for Williams Energy Canada and previously led the Calgary office of a national government relations consulting firm, namely Global Public Affairs. Ms. Royer worked as Manager, Government Relations at Enbridge Inc, and also served in the federal government as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Honourable Ralph Goodale. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.

Neigel, Andrew
Mr. Andrew Neigel is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CAREERS: The Next Generation Foundation and Principal of the Boreal Management Group. He currently sits on the Skills for Jobs Task Force and is a member of the Alberta Education Curriculum Review Panel. He also is a member of the Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta and former member of the Alberta Energy Regulator, the Athabasca University Governing Council, Alberta Pacific Forest Industries and Portage College Board of Governors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Alberta.

Daniel, Maya
Dr. Maya Daniel is an Instructor at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s (NAIT) JR Shaw School of Business. She has formerly served as a Program Advisory Council Member and on several of NAIT’s Hiring Committees for instructors. In 2023, Dr. Daniel received an Outstanding Dissertation in Action Research Award from the Canadian Association of Action Research in Education, and previously has been awarded the Instructional Excellence Award from NAIT. Dr. Daniel holds a Doctor of Education degree in Adult Learning from the University of Calgary, a Master of Arts degree in Tourism Management from Royal Roads University, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Toronto Metropolitan University.
Palladino, Linda
Ms. Linda Palladino was the Vice President of Human Resources Business Support with Enbridge Inc. She is the former board chair and director at MindFuel and a past director with the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council. Ms. Palladino is a Certified Practitioner of Human Resources and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a certificate in Personnel Administration from the University of Alberta.

Sidhu, PS
Mr. Parveshindera Sidhu is the President of Genesis Builders Group Inc. and Senior Vice President of Home Building Genesis Land Development Corp. He serves as a co-chair and member of the Economic Advisory Committee and is a member of the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Calgary Region Human Resource Committee. Mr. Sidhu holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Studies from the University of Hertfordshire, a Post-Graduate diploma in Business Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care with Child Protection Specialization from Vancouver Island University.
Mulholland, Ruth
Mr. Siraaj Shah is currently a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree program at the University of Calgary. He also holds his Residential Real Estate License from the Real Estate Council of Alberta. He is the Faculty of Arts Student Representative on the students’ union at the university. He is currently President of the Muslim Students’ Association, part of the Government Affairs team with the Calgary Real Estate Board, and the National Director of Charity Week Canada.
Smith, Rachel
Ms. Rachel Smith is the Vice President and General Manager of Air Products Canada Ltd. She is a professional engineer with over 18 years experience in the energy sector with roles that span technical, operations, and commercial. Ms. Smith holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Natural Resources, Energy and the Environment from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Biochemical Engineering Science degree and Master of Engineering Science degree from the University of Western Ontario.

Libunao, Danielle
Ms. Danielle Libunao is currently a fourth-year student at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in the Bachelor of Administration program with a concentration in Human Resources. She served as a senator with NAIT’s Students’ Association for the 2023/24 term and participated in finance sub-committee and election committee meetings. At the end of her senate term, she was honoured with the Becky Kallal award, recognizing her skills in student governance, leadership, continuous learning, preparedness, cooperation, strategic thinking, and integrity. July, 2024.
Bruno, Marina
Ms. Marina Bruno is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program majoring in Human Resources Management at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She is the elected Vice-President Academic of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Students’ Association (NAITSA) for the 2023/24 academic year, and previously served as a Service Hub Assistant and Peer Supporter for NAITSA. She holds a Personal Fitness Trainer diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Chattargoon, Steve
Mr. Steve Chattargoon is the Chair of NAIT’s Digital Media and Information Technology (DMIT) Program. He was instrumental in growing the DMIT program to over 1,600 students, driving industry collaboration across nine specialized pathways, and launching six new diploma programs. He also actively volunteers with NAIT’s Executive Committee and serves on NAIT’s Academic Council. He holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Change from Royal Roads University.
