Williams, Tony
Mr. Tony Williams is currently the Senior Vice President at Studyportals. Mr. Williams brings extensive entrepreneurial experience as co-founder of Zept Inc., a global international student recruitment app that provides matching system between students and university, college and polytechnic programs. Mr. Williams is former Vice President of Marketing & Recruitment with Navitas North America. He also served as Vice Provost International at Lakehead University and held leadership positions in international student recruitment at the Universities of Alberta and Winnipeg. Mr. Williams has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Alberta and Conflict Studies and International Relations at Uppsala University in Sweden.
Abbott, Jodi
Dr. Jodi Abbott is the President and CEO of the University Hospital Foundation. Dr. Abbott was President and CEO of NorQuest College for ten years and former Senior Vice President, Quality Performance Improvement with Alberta Health Services. Dr. Abbott is also former Chair of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board and an inaugural Chair of the Edmonton’s Health City. Dr. Abbott has a PhD in Education Psychology from the University of Alberta.
Severin, Brad
Mr. Severin is President of the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Severin has over 25 years of experience as a taxation specialist, most recently as a Tax Partner in the Edmonton office of Elevation Capital. Mr. Severin specializes in consulting in Canadian and international taxation matters including corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and succession planning for family-owned businesses. Mr. Severin is involved in community service and has been active on several boards of not-for-profit organizations.
Wong, Richard
Mr. Robert Wong is a seasoned professional with over 39 years in tourism, hospitality and Convention Centre business. Mr. Wong began his hotel career with Sutton Place Hotel brand with postings in Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago, California and Edmonton, AB. An accomplished and well-respected senior level executive with extensive business and board governance experience, Mr. Wong is highly skilled in strategy, organizational restructuring and change management in both for profit and not-for-profit sectors.
Fernandez, Robert
Mr. Robert Fernandez is President of Mansbach Advisory Group. Mr. Fernandez served as Director of Economic Diversification for Parkland County and Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Stuart Olson Inc. Mr. Fernandez began his career with Siemens AG in Europe prior to joining Government of Alberta in senior roles with Alberta Economic Development Authority and Oil Sands Secretariat with Alberta Treasury Board. Mr. Fernandez holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and executive education credentials from Duke University and the University of Alberta.
