Hamish Henderson has been involved in a General Practice Law in Alberta for over 32 years. He has appeared regularly before all level of the Alberta Courts, as well as numerous Boards and Tribunals. Wilma Shim is a lawyer with over 10 years of experience, having worked as a Barrister and Solicitor and a Crown Prosecutor for Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. She is active in the community, serving as a Senator on the University of Calgary Senate, the Vice Chair for the University of Calgary Alumni Association, and a Board member for Special Olympics Calgary. Wilma continues to be involved with her alma mater as a sessional instructor in the area of Sports Law for both the Faculties of Law and Kinesiology at the University of Calgary.

Tiamiyu, Tony

Tony Tiamiyu started his career with the Government of Alberta as a Probation Officer. He then transferred to the Young Offender system and became a Youth Worker working with youth ages 12-18 years. Tony's primary responsibility as a Youth Worker was to supervise young offenders, teaching them life skills to succeed in life. He had also interacted with school officials, the legal system and gained further insight into the issues of student truancy. As a Probation/Parole Officer, Tony supervised young/adult offenders, mediating and assisting with their re-entry into the Community. This experience gave him extensive understanding of the challenges facing young people in Alberta and has equipped him with the skills needed to successfully communicate, investigate, mediate and problem solve the challenges they faced.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Alberta and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Winnipeg.

Walsh, Todd

Todd Walsh is the Executive Director at the Appeals Commission for Alberta Workers’ Compensation and has been with the Appeals Commission for the past eight years. Prior to that, Todd was a junior and senior high school teacher in Pigeon Lake. Todd completed a diploma in Business Management as well as a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Service at Humber College. He has also completed the Bachelor of Education program at the University of Alberta and was active in the Education faculty's student association, and member of Delta Upsilon International fraternity. Recently, Todd completed his MBA at Royal Roads University specializing in Executive Management. As a teacher, Todd was a member of the Alberta Teacher Association, serving as treasurer for Wetaskiwin Local 18 and Executive Director of Communications and Evaluation for the North Central Teachers’ Convention. Todd was also appointed to the Alberta Teachers' Association Provincial Standing Committee for Diversity, Equity and Human Rights. Presently, Todd works with the Canadian Cadet Movement and volunteers as an Aide de Camp for the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. He is also the Vice-Chair of the My Health Alberta public advisory group for Alberta Health Services.

Wilcox, Elizabeth

Elizabeth Wilcox graduated with an LL.B. from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta in 1997. After articling with the Alberta Court of Appeal, she practiced law in Edmonton. She later worked for the Department of Labour dealing with the application of the FOIP Act, and published an annotation of the FOIP Act for the Queen’s Printer for several years. A mother to four children, Elizabeth became active in education as her children grew, serving as a board member for school based parent organizations. Elizabeth was later employed by the University of Alberta to assist in the delivery of French language immersion courses in France.
