Wasylenko, Louise
Louise Wasylenko is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CMA). Louise's experience in legal and regulatory environments, both professionally and as a board member, focusses on professional standards, adjudication and strategies for remediation. Her senior management roles at Bennett Jones, KPMG, health care organizations and municipalities included the analysis and management of financial processes, risk management and compliance activities. Louise is semi-retired and contributes her financial expertise to several non-profit organizations.
Buick, Glen
Glen Buick, formerly Canadian Ambassador to Chile, and then ADM in Alberta Culture, is a member of the Alberta Law Enforcement Review Board and Edmonton Assessment Review Board. He served on the boards of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Award Foundation, CKUA, Edmonton International Jazz Festival, and (as Ministerial representative) on Access Alberta and the Calgary Centre for Performing Arts. He has a B.A. from Queen’s University and received the Alberta Centennial Medal in 2005 and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.
Louie, Levonne
Levonne Louie is an oil and gas professional who has served three terms on the CAPL board and received a CAPL Special Recognition Award in 2016. She has a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Business Administration, a Professional Landman designation, and an ICD.D designation. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and a board member of Alberta Theatre Projects and the Calgary Convention Centre Authority. Levonne has also published two books to explain the complexities of the oil and gas industry.
Neilson, Mary Ellen
Mary Ellen Neilson is the Executive Director at the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (“ARBI”). Mary Ellen is a CPA-CMA with a Masters of Business Administration from York University. She also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. In the community, Mary Ellen has served on the Board of Directors for the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Board of Governors for the Glenbow Museum, and was a member of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta. She also served six years on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Calgary, including two years as Board Chair. Mary Ellen currently serves as a Director of ATB Financial, where she is a member of the Risk Committee and the Governance Committee. She additionally serves as an elected Senator for the University of Calgary, where she was the vice-chair of the Senate Development Committee, and currently serves as the Senate’s nominee on the University of Calgary Board of Governors.
