Sproule, Sharon

Sharon Sproule is a long-time member of the Lethbridge community who brings with her 20 years of legal experience encompassing client advocacy, mediation, dispute resolution, and trial representation. Ms. Sproule holds a B.A. from the University of Lethbridge and a LL.B. from the University of Calgary. She has represented clients in both the public and private sectors, and most recently was the General Counsel for the University of Lethbridge. Ms. Sproule was also a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge, and a frequent lecturer and presenter for various community associations, including the Public Legal Education Network of Alberta, Executive Women’s International, and the Canadian Association of University Solicitors. As an involved member of her community, Ms. Sproule has also held various Chair, Director, Board member and Board committee positions with not-for-profit and service-based community organizations in Lethbridge. 

Horrigan, Dennis

Mr. Dennis Horrigan completed Business Administration and Commerce from Grande Prairie Regional College, Alberta. He is an experienced board member, serving as a public member on the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta and as the chairman for the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement Northern Alberta & NWT. Mr. Horrigan has over 20 of experience in strategic planning, financial analysis and budgeting.

Evren, Lisa

Lisa Evren is a consultant and community volunteer in Calgary, and has held executive finance positions with major corporations in Canada and the United States. Ms. Evren has worked in the energy, technology, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in teaching hospitals as a pediatric oncology and critical care nurse. Ms. Evren holds Master of Laws (Taxation) and Juris Doctor degrees from New York University School of Law. She volunteers as a mediator, child victim court accompaniment advocate, and municipal board member.

Schaffer, Sean

Sean Schaffer has worked for Alberta Health Services since 2009 and is currently is Senior Policy Advisor supporting the development and management of provincial corporate and clinical policies for the organization. Sean has a Bachelor of Applied Policy Studies degree from Mount Royal University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Sean has also served on several municipal tribunals in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
