Dziwenka, Margitta

Dr. Margitta Dziwenka is a Registered Veterinarian and a Board-Certified Toxicologist. She is the Director of Preclinical and Companion Animal Services at Nutrasource Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Services. Dr Dziwenka has served on various committees with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (ABVMA). She also served 5 years on ABVMA Council which included a term as President. Dr Dziwenka is currently on the Hearing Tribunal for the ABVMA as well as the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act Appeal Tribunal.

Competencies required for members of the council of the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta include governance, risk management and effective verbal communication. Margitta Dziwenka was directly recruited and appointed based on meeting the competencies, skills and attributes as described above.

Poirier, Paul

Paul Poirier is an experienced senior manager who has worked in both the public and private sectors. As an entrepreneur, Paul founded a computer consulting firm and managed it for 14 years before moving on to take leadership roles with a large multinational firm in the oil and gas industry and later with Alberta's Ministry of Health

Paul has a BA in Economics from the University of Calgary and has been a Board Chair for two non-profit organizations as well as serving as a Board member for 3 other organizations.

Ingeveld, Gerald

Gerald Ingeveld is a rancher and health care volunteer in the Sundre area. Gerald is a former AHS Health Advisory Council member, a current member of the Sundre Health Profession Attraction and Retention Committee, as well as chair of the local Hospital Foundation Committee.

Noel, Karlana

Karlana Noel is the M.A. Couns Psyc., R.C.T., R.C.C., C.C.C., CYCC, Q.Med., Counselling Therapist. I believe therapy provides an opportunity for individuals to express themselves and work towards independence, personal strength and achieve their goals. When I am not working with my private counselling practice, I am advocating for mental health supports and services. Holding my masters degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and working with families and individuals in family mediation, through ADR Alberta/Canada.

Competencies required for members of the council of the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta include risk management, understanding of industry/sector and effective verbal communication. Karlana Noel was directly recruited and appointed based on meeting the competencies, skills and attributes as described above.
