Cassie, Kristine

Ms. Kristine Cassie serves as Vice-Chair of the board and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. She has substantial community and advocacy experience in the areas of youth, domestic and sexual violence, and housing. She holds a Masters of Science in Leadership degree from Walden University, an Applied Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Service Administration from MacEwan University, and a Youth Development diploma from Mount Royal University. She is a registered social worker and a certified community traumatologist.

Johnson, Nolan

Mr. Nolan Johnson is a partner at Huckvale LLP. He has specialized in commercial, residential, and agricultural real estate and corporate/commercial transactions.

Mr. Johnson has volunteered with Lethbridge Legal Guidance, Lethbridge Public Legal Education, and Magrath Minor hockey. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta.

Moch, Janene

Ms. Janene Moch is a Certified Professional Accountant with more than 20 years financial and accounting experience. She is currently a Partner in Assurance and Forensic Services with Meyers Norris Penny LLP. Ms. Moch has volunteered with Alberta Paint Horse Club, Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association, and the Alberta Council for Women’s Shelters. She holds a Masters degree in Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Scott, Calvin

Mr. Calvin Scott is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Partner with Avail LLP. He served on the board from 2014 to 2017 and served as the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Mr. Scott is the past Treasurer for the Young Professionals Association of Lethbridge and the Lethbridge Lifelong Learning Association. He holds a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Marcotte, Michael

Mr. Michael Marcotte has been Chair of The Board of Governors of Lethbridge College since September 2019. He is the Owner Operator of Moxies Bar and Grill in Lethbridge, Alberta. He is also the Owner Operator of Prime Time Catering and the Italian Table. He is active in the community, volunteering for organizations such as the STARS Boots and Roots Gala for five years as Chair, and a board member for the Lethbridge Destination Management Objective and the Downtown Rotary Club. He holds a trade certificate with an Interprovincial Standards Red Seal endorsement in the Cook trade.

Day Chief, Joshua

Mr. Joshua Day Chief is the Chief Executive Officer of AdvancedAg Inc. as well as a Business Advisor with Tecconnect/Economic Development Lethbridge. He was a member on the Board of Advisors of Integrated Agriculture Technology Centre and a member on the Entrepreneur Steering Committee with the Blackfoot Confederacy Tribal Council. He holds an Environmental Assessment and Restoration diploma from Lethbridge College.

French, Sheila

Dr. Sheila A. French is a Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Lethbridge College. Previously, she was a Director of Clinical Services with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Corrections and Policing. She holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology, a Master of Arts degree in Applied and Experimental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of New Brunswick.

Stein, Perry

Mr. Perry Stein is the Project Planning Lead with the City of Lethbridge. Prior to this role, he was an Indigenous Relations Advisor with the city. He serves as an Editorial Committee member with the APPI Planning Magazine and is a 2022 Awards of Excellence Juror with Creative Cities Network Canada. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Development and Sustainability from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Lethbridge.

Hope, Marni

Ms. Marni Hope is an Indigenous Student Support and Events Coordinator at Lethbridge College. She currently serves as a member on the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame, member on the Old Man River Health Advisory Board, and is the former Vice-President of the Sixties Scoop Indigenous Society of Alberta. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Indigenous Studies from Trent University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree at the University of Calgary.

Jensen, Niculina

Ms. Niculina Jensen is enrolled in the Practical Nursing diploma program at Lethbridge College. She was the Vice-President, Operations and Finance for the Lethbridge College Students’ Association for the 2022/23 academic year and served as a member on the Alberta Students’ Executive Council from June 2022 to October 2022. She holds a Health Care Aide Certificate from Lethbridge College.

Joseph, Stefan

Mr. Stefan Joseph is enrolled in the Computer Information Technology diploma program at Lethbridge College. He was previously a student representative on the Lethbridge College Students’ Association and was elected President for the 2023/24 academic year. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Applied Business Management from Brigham Young University Idaho.
