Hykaway, Cynthia
Cynthia Hykaway is an Assistant Director, Legal Services, with Justice and Solicitor General. Since called to bar in 2004, she practiced exclusively in civil litigation and represented the Province on a range of legal issues. She is a Sessional Instructor at the University of Calgary Law School since 2019, and has served as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee of Wood’s Homes Children’s Mental Health Centre. She has a Bachelor of Science from Mercyhurst University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta.
Kenny, William
William J. Kenny, Q.C. is a lawyer and partner with Miller Thomson LLP. He acts as general counsel, practicing civil and regulatory litigation and construction law, as well as transportation, insurance and corporate-commercial law. He has extensive experience in claim-related events, dispute resolution, and preparation of contract documents and has also been appointed as arbitrator and mediator for many commercial disputes. He was called to the bar in Alberta in 1974 and obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Mr. Kenny was a recommended candidate from the Law Society of Alberta.
