    Energy and Minerals

    The Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission is responsible for selling the conventional crude that the government receives in lieu of cash royalties. The Commission also develops commodity prices used in royalty calculations, assists with the development of new energy markets and transportation infrastructure, and manages the implementation of Alberta's Bitumen Royalty In-Kind Policy.
