Bourassa, Paul

Paul M. Bourassa is a lawyer with over 20 years' experience, who is passionate about combatting financial crime. Paul authors articles, speaks at conferences, and advocates governments and law enforcement to increase their focus on seizing assets and money from drug trafficking. This passion is the result of a successful career as a Federal Crown Prosecutor and Justice Counsel. In 2017/18, Paul was a Consultant to the UNODC in southern Africa focusing on combating money laundering and terrorist financing. In 2023, Paul was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal Recipient for his commitment to education and minority language rights.

Wearmouth, Vicki

Vicki Wearmouth retired after a long career working as a Public Health Inspector with Alberta Health Services in the Calgary Zone. During her career she wrote and enforced many Executive Officer Orders and prepared, attended and participated in many legal proceedings. She provided support and mentorship to colleagues doing the same. Vicki has been a member of many committees and has collaborated with several civic and provincial agencies. Vicki holds a CPHI(C) designation from the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors.

Rolfe, David

Mr. Rolfe holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work and retired from Alberta Government services after a 32 year career in the Mental Health and Children’s Services Ministries. He has extensive experience on Boards and Commissions having been appointed to numerous Appeal Panels related to Health, Human Services and Law Enforcement over the past 12 years. David is a trained mediator and has completed a number of courses related to Administrative Justice.

Kelly, Kevin

Kevin Kelly is a lawyer who works with individuals, organizations and boards to help them resolve disputes. He has served on numerous boards, hearing panels and advisory committees. He has extensive training in arbitration, mediation, negotiation and conflict management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (1989) from the University of Victoria and Law degree (1993) from Cardiff School of Law and Politics.

Chika-James, Theresa

Dr. Theresa A. Chika-James is an educationist and academic researcher who works with students, professionals and organizations towards enhancing the learning experience of individuals and advancement of organizations. She has experience in conflict management, change management, leadership and service-learning. She has served on several institutional committees, as a board member of the Association of Change Management Professionals, Alberta Chapter, and currently works as an Associate Professor at MacEwan University.
